Worked with clients, account managers and creative team members to strategize and develop campaigns and collateral materials for corporate and nonprofit clients. Wrote copy for websites, videos, brochures, presentation decks, ads, emails, book covers, catalogs, direct mail pieces, author promotional materials and fundraising tools.
Wrote and/or produced dozens of videos; also served as Floor Director on some in-studio shoots, and voiceover talent as needed. Family Features Editorial Syndicate – PR content provider (Mission, KS)
Wrote and edited PR articles for national food, lifestyle, and home/garden brands. In 2012, the combined ordering circulation of the publications that took our content reached over 1.2 billion impressions. A few of the brands I wrote for included Nestlé, Black & Decker, Allianz Life Insurance, Starbucks, National Pork Board, TruGreen, University of Phoenix, Microsoft Bing, and Chronicle Books. Ghostwriter for three syndicated columns, including “Mix it Up with Jenny” for Nestlé, and helped grow its number of annual impressions to 90 million.
Consulted with clients and sales associates on article themes, recipes and photography in order to help the projects have strong editorial appeal. Wrote project proposals and copy for spec layouts as tools to help secure sales.
Researched and presented a company-wide report on culinary trend mapping, and consumer attitudes about functional foods, and showed how each department could leverage this information to improve our product and reassert our position as food experts in the industry.

Developed and wrote copy for marketing campaigns; worked with creative team and internal clients to transition through the organization’s name change, as well as the rebranding of external programs.
Wrote and/or edited organization and staff fundraising letters, wrote promotional videos, and radio spots. Edited a teen-written newsletter. Wrote an original drama, The Quest, which was translated into several languages and performed by teens on mission trips in many countries, and wrote a series of seven devotional books for teens (published in-house).
